Stories from the River is a collection of blog posts about my life experiences on the water. They include stories from when I was a boy exploring and fishing in the hills of western Missouri up until my most recent fly fishing adventures in the mountains of Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. For me fly fishing is not only the art of pursuing and catching trout, but it’s also about connecting to something bigger than myself. It’s the satisfaction I get when I teach my son how to cast to a rising trout or the contentment I feel spending the day fishing shoulder to shoulder with a good friend. These are the times when life makes the most sense to me. These are the stories I share with you here.
